My name is Paul and my wife, and I were separated and I was going through a rough patch as I called it.

My wife had asked me to please seek out counseling to help me work through whatever it was I was dealing with. I was used to my parents going through times of separation that led my dad to leave for periods of time. And now I was doing the same thing to my wife and kids whenever I got frustrated or tired of how things were going at home.

A friend of mine told me about Dawn at Living Beautifully Broken and how she had helped him. He suggested I reach out to her.

I didn't want my kids to feel the same way I did and struggle or my wife to feel as if she was all alone. Because Dawn taught me that I needed to learn how to be fully present.
